36KB. Like I said, I tried to break it up by adding one dataset (16KB text
file) to a first table (orig. 24KB) once in DW, no dice. It definitely seems
to be a DW problem, not my lack of computer oomph, memory, etc.! By the way,
18 columns worked, 19 did not. EXACT same byte size on the text file.
This is happening on my colleague's much-more-powerful computer, too.

I tested a 65KB file, no problem. Not as many columns though ;) I am
attaching the actual file for you & maybe you can give it a whirl. It really
is the darndest thing..... just a plain-and-simple text file.......... !!

Attachments are discouraged for this and other Macromedia
forums, and to make matters worse, they do not carry forward from the
webforums into the NNTP forums, which is where most of the people who post
answers are visiting. The best bet would be to upload the file and post a
URI.
And thanks for the reminder about DW4 - I had forgotten that.
