Re: Layers Not Aligned Correctly |
| message from Chad Keller on 22 Jul 2004 |
I hope I haven't offended you. I've learned alot from your posts. I'm more
accustomed to Flash. Laying out things in Dreamweaver are completely
different. I only screwed up a test page. I have the original tucked away in
a safe spot.
I tried what you said a few times and I moved the "layers" from out of the
table. I then created a new css style and adjusted the positioning placement
top and left. I then added the style to the layer. When I tested it in IE the
layer still didn't move with the table. That's when I tried some other things
before coming back to the forums. Maybe I'm not creating or attaching the
style correctly. Thanks for your help.

You scared me. Don't ever mention converting tables to layers again! 8)
Show me the page where you tried the fixes please....

O.K. here's the link to the page where i made the changes. to test it out I
deleted all other layers except summer 2004. The table is in the background.
The .css is called summer and it's on the server. Not too sure what I'm doing
wrong. I want my layer to move with the table when the window is resized.
Thanks.
