If you mean from an aesthetics point of view, I'd agree - but clients are

Well, my clients have no say-so in things like whether or not I use the FW
pop-up menus. This (and most all-javascript menu systems) is a badly flawed
approach to site layout, and creates lots of problems for you and your
site's visitors.

As for the Java applet, what is it doing? Something cosmetic? It's not
worth the trouble. Something functional? Then you may have no choice.

"Clients is clients" is a cop out (in my opinion) - and is usually
translated into "I didn't know how to (or couldn't successfully) dissuade
them from the concept. There are rock solid reasons for not using either of
these functions, however. If you'd like more ammunition, post back.
