i would agree with you but my friends machine sees everything fine. all I want
to do is view my work as I go. apparantly this is a problem in version 7.0 but
the upgrade to 7.1 resolves it. not on mine. I am missing a setting that my
friends workstation has and I don't know what it is..

EDIT | Preferences > Invisible Elements > Server-side includes (enable).
