You might have a few problems with MySQL 5 and DWMX. I did - so I when to the stable reslease of MySql - I think it is 4.3.1??? And it worked fine.

Hi,

how can i set mysql to standalone mode?

I tried to type -standalone in c promt e.g. c:\mysql\bin>mysqld -standalone
and it gave me an error message: "MYSQLD" is not recongnise as an internalor
external command, operatable program or batch file

is there anywhere that i did not right?
