I'm floored. How can something so basic be left out of DW? And from the
sound of things MM is too arrogant to consider adding such a feature. The
more I use DW, the less impressed I am.

Honestly, I have never been bothered by it.
You have Homesite - it can print your code in color.

Hmmm...as a complete novice Im gonna have to chime in and say....The more I use DreamWeaver, the MORE impressed I am. Not that it matters. lol

This points to a bigger question... Why do you print your code at all?
Maybe I'm just spoiled by my laptop, but even before I had it I
can't remember ever having the need to print out my code, much less
print it in color. I know there've been cases in which I copy/paste
code into a word document when I'm writing about how to do something,
but that in no way requires even a print function from DW.
I really am interested to hear why you or anyone else needs to print out
code and kill a bunch of trees. It just seems like a useless pursuit.

I have done it a couple of times when I have had very complicated nested
tables and they are not displaying properly so that I can check that each
tag has the appropriate closing tag.

Interesting, though I would think the Select Parent Tag and Select Child
functions alongside the format source command would be a better method
for checking this, but I also know the format command can be a little
odd sometimes, so it makes sense.

Above and beyond HTML, errors in code logic are often easier to spot when
printed out.
I wouldn't necessarily need them in color as variations in fonts and text
styles would be just fine when looking at printed code.
Heck, I even like flowcharting ;o)

Yeah, I'm definitely a Visio junkie for stuff like that.
