Re: Design View doesn't display correctly

I think you nailed it when you said, "...The problems are simply an antique
operating system's inability to cope with the resource demands of an
application built to run on post 2000 era computers."

I also think you are correct in saying, "Note that there is no test for
whether it runs *well*, nor is there any
warrantee to that effect." However, I think this is a really crappy stance to
take. If it isn't going to work well, then Macromedia should state that.

You are assuming "that your W98SE is not a fresh installation, but one that has
degraded over the years to the point where it is so low on System Resources
that you dive into the danger zone merely by opening an application.".....
Wrong. this is a fairly recent install on a new machine with plenty of
available resources.

"It's loss of capacity in the operating system." Huh? This is impossible.
Dreamweaver products have simply outgrown this OS... you should call it like it
is.

What is wrong with the idea of Macromedia simply stating that a preferred
install would be on an XP or 2000 OS? Why mislead people? You (yourself)
wouldn't recommend using 9X, right?
