Re: Design View doesn't display correctly |

The display problems are inconsistent, and include partially loaded images of
elements on each page. Also, sometimes the display is broken and repeats many
times accross the "design" window. Also, when Dreamweaver is launched, other
programs are really bogged down and load slowly, if at all. It seems to help a
little if I close all other programs; running only Dreamweaver.
With this in mind, I checked the System Resources and found that after a fresh
reboot, I have 77% of the available 512mb free, but as soon as I open
Dreamweaver, the available ram drops to 32%... a 46% reduction in available
ram! Is dreamweaver this much of a hog, or is something wrong with my ram?

Ahh - you are using W9x/ME?
Neither, really. It's your completely inadequate operating system. If you
are serious about using contemporary applications, then you must consider
updating to a more reliably industrial strength OS like W2KPro or WXP.
