Re: DW FTP won't FTP Acrobat PDFs. Why? |
| message from offill on 21 Jul 2004 |
Yes, they're in the right folder, no they're not overly huge, though why should
DW care?
Yes, I've done all that you've suggested.
Any other ideas?
P.S. I use another FTP client to upload these files and they work fine! DW
even recognizes them on the remote server when present!

What's the name of the PDF file? And the directory (full path) that it is
in?
Cheers,
Sam

Well, its different PDFs at different times. tonight, all the PDFs are
uploading JUST FINE so I can't give you a direct link. . . Its kinda like when
you take your car to the automechanic. It "tings" at home, but humms away when
the mechanic listens. . . .
I was just wondering if it was a problem others had experienced. . . maybe not?

No problems with PDFs. DW will even synch the files without a hiccup. I
was just curious about the file and path name because I have had cases where
the OS let me create a file or path name, but an application would gag on
the file because of the inclusion of a non-standard character. I was also
wondering if you were alternately using different cases for file or
directory specs and your webhosts file system was case sensitive,
Cheers,
Sam
