AOL for Windows (since v3.0) does not have an embedded browser. The AOL
software uses whatever version of Internet Explorer is installed on the OS.
AOL for OSX uses Netscape Gecko. So, yes, nobody tests on AOL.

Since, getting caught in AOL nightmare about 5 years ago, when it stopped you using pop3 etc, I've steared well clear and had no idea of this ? doh!
