I'm not sure, this problem is mostly with macintosh machines so i'm on
unfamilar ground.
two suggestions offhand-
One- wouldn't take much effort to create a new User profile on the machine?
Make the username something without a . instead of M.b Does dw launch and
work from that profile?
Two- last resort- uninstall dw fully then re-install. It may fix itself-
Use one of the site definition utilities first to capture the site defs.
