Insert an image this is on YOUR computer that is inside of THIS site's Local
Site Folder.
You have defined a "site" in dreamweaver???

yes

and there was no warning
but what do you mean "When you pick the image" i pressed ok when i browsed img in my site folder and there was no warnings

lets try it again maybe?
Open dreamweaver.
File-->NEW-->pick new html page
######don't save the page########
now, dw menu-->Insert-->Image
Pick an image that is already in this Site's folder
*********don't save the page*******
now click the middle icon at top left of design window, to go to Split Code
and Design view.
what's the src for the image in code view?
If those instructions don't work for you-
What is the full folder path to where this Site's Local Site Folder is?
hard drive name-->folder name-->folder name-->and so on to and including the
name of the-->Local Site Folder
