Re: Split View

Any word yet from anyone on how to solve this? It is baffling and quite
annoying!

When I tried creating the blank file, saving, closing, opening, it worked when
I opened a file, but then when I closed all open files then reopened one, it
went straight on back to code view. What the heck?!

And how did this happen in the first place? It's a mystery to me.

Ok, I think I figured out a way to at least temporarily solve the problem.
Although it makes little sense to me.

Keep a file open in Split View when you quit Dreamweaver. Make sure that when
you re-open Dreamweaver that you always keep a file open. For some reason, if
you close all files, then open one, you revert back to Code View. In addition,
if you quit Dreamweaver with all the files closed first it reverts back to Code
View the next time.

But I think that as long as you keep a file open when you quit, and make sure
to always keep a file open when in Dreamweaver, you'll always get the preferred
Split View. Fingers crossed.

I'm having that same problem
It just started. Before it would open a document with whatever view I
had on the last page I closed.
Your solution doesn't help if you are working on one site and then
want to close all files to work on another site.
I want the solution to this.
