Do a SEARCH on this forum for "F12 freezes IE" without the quotes and find the
most recent (July 14, 2004) consolidation of many, many posts on the topic with
superb suggestions.
I personally solved the problem by scandisking and defragging my machine. I
save DW files with CTRL+S before every viewing with F12, and close the IE
screen before going back to DW.
