DMX2004 was announced in September 2003, as I recall (it could have been
August). DMX was announced in April 2002. DW4 was released about 18 months
earlier. Macromedia seems to be running on an 18 month release schedule,
therefore.

They usually announce a new release 60 days prior to availability. They do
not discuss release or product details prior to that time. This is not an
unusual policy in the software world.

I doubt that any public discussion of planned capabilities would occur
outside that 60-day window.
