Re: APPLE vs. PC

good god you two... calm down. it's computers, and it's business, and that's
the way the computer business is.

I don't see how ANYONE, who tried a Apple G5 for a day (with an open mind)
would ever want to go back to a PC. The G5s are just plain fun to use... not
to mention they look great doing it. They are fast as hell, even faster then
anything Intel is putting out these days, and you don't have to worry about
constant updates to help protect you against the daily attack of viruses,
trojans, spyware, and similar that you have with the MS PCs. In my opinion, if
it weren't for Dell, I wouldn't even own ANY PC. Some of you are thinking it's
too hard to change your software... but your forgetting that the macromedia
products you buy work on both platforms, so it's a non-issue as far as that's
concerned. Also, Apple has some software that is exclusive to them that is
fantastic to use. If you find yourself running into an obscure program that is
MS only, just use your PC for. There's nothing wrong with owning both a PC and
a MAC, and using them accordingly. For example, I have a new Dell laptop, but
plan on getting a G5 desktop. I also have a Dell desktop that I will use for
additional tasks... like a mail server. I promise you guys, no matter how long
you've used PCs.... if you sit down with a MAC G5 for a day, you'll fall in
love and never want to go back..... this is coming from a LONG time PC user
that still uses PCs.
