PVII Tree Menu Magic & DW Question |
| message from wolfeyes on 21 Jul 2004 |
Hi There! I'm using PVII's Tree Menu Magic for navigation in my DreamWeaver
templates.. By the way, if you are thinking of doing pop up menus for nav.
within DW, use Tree Menu Magic instead! It's a wonderful program and easy to
use.
My question is this...
Where in the javascript files for my TMM menu can I change the behavior so
that when a user clicks on a link from the TTM menu and they go "back" the menu
will remain opened/uncollapsed and unchanged (instead of closing/collapsing).
Thanks so very much!

Hi Wolfeyes,
The system automatically detects a match between the current page and a
corresponding link in the submenus and will open that section whether
you arrive there by clicking the link or pressing the Back Button
doesn't make a difference. The one exception is Safari which has a
History Bug and will not fire the event when the Back Button is
depressed. We have developed a generic Safari Back Button fix which can
be found on our Extensions page.
Note - if you cannot log on to our support newsgroup, please see your
TMM User Guide's Support Chapter for a listing of all of our support
options.

Hi! Thanks for the replies! I don't think I asked my question right. A user
of mine would rather that the PVII menu stay opened, with her visited links
showing, etc., even if she goes to another page, or uses the "back' button.
Thanks!
