Preview Problem with Dreamweaver MX

Suddenly Dreamweaver wants to go online to preview files I'm working on
offline. It keeps giving me a page not found error and won't preview the
page. Why could it be doing this and how can I stop it? I'm working a basic
htm page. I don't want to upload the page until it is complete but I want to
see what it looks like while working on it.
