PROBLEM FIXED: relative position for layer?

thanks for the help murray !! very interessting what you have written ..
however, silly me, the answer was right in the forum .. just a few topics
down :) sorry that i didnt see that ..

but i was also able to easily solve my problem with the snap layer extension
from http://www.projectseven.com ..

that worked fine .. you can see at www.brasslesachtal.com
