Printer-friendly pages with CSS and Tables?

message from offill on 21 Jul 2004
Greetings,

I've spent some time trying to use CSS to produce a "printer friendly page"
that is void of the extraneous images/ads/banners of the outer columns of my
website. I'm using tables instead of layers primarily because of compatibility
issues. I'm wondering though, is there a way to get CSS printer friendly to
work anyway?

I'm using a file called printer.css that is refererenced in my head for
media="print".

This is the reference I'm basing my CSS on.

Where do I go from here?

Sure. What problems are you having?

Also, I wrote a DW MX 2004 extension that allows you to view and edit
your page for any media type:

Hopefully this will save you some time and paper.
