O.T. weird email problem

message from J.P. Luisi on 21 Jul 2004
Hi all,

Sorry for the O.T. post, but I know one of you will have the answer. ;-)

I'm having a strange problem with my email.

I've been trying to send a word doc, "flyer.doc" as an attachment to a
client of mine. The message never gets through and I don't get a bounce
back. However, all of our other emails get through to each other. I tried
sending other word files as a test and they got through as well.

I finally figured out the difference between "flyer.doc" and the test emails
was that it had urls embedded in it. When I took them out and resent the
file it got through.

Has anyone had this problem before or suggest a fix?

Thanks in advance,

J.P. Luisi

Zip it, then send it.

Most likely, some virus protection software on there end is intercepting it.

Thanks Darrel,

Sometimes the simplest solution is the best one.
