Office 2003 breaking html email |
| message from DonMTV on 24 Jul 2004 |
Hi everyone,
I am a novice Dreamweaver user. I have used Fireworks to create my html
page, then import it into Dreamweaver. It looks great. I place the page on
the website for people who are not able to get html email. It is perfect. I
then begin to import the html into Outlook 2003 and it breaks everything. The
funny thing is I have saved another email from Stuff Magazine and imported that
into Outlook 2003 and it doesn't break. I am trying to figure out why that
might be, but I am not an html coder. I do not know what to look for. Any
help would be fantastic.
Here are the links to the different emails:

http://www.bmarley.com/stuff.html The Stuff Magazine html email....
Thank you,
Don

If you are going to use your HTML page in an email, you must make sure that
all the links on the page are absolute links, e.g.,
<img src="http://www.domain.com/images/foo.gif"....

Hi Murray,
Thank you for the quick reply. All of my images have been coded with
absolute links. When I import the html page into Outlook 2003 the tables break
up. Not sure why that happens with the code of my html, and doesn't happen
when I import the Stuff Magazine html email.
