Mac browser chops top off page

The top 20 pixels (or so) of the background are getting chopped off. This
leaves my name cropped in half.

I'm using a .css to position the background image that stays consistent in all
pages.
It's set to: no-repeat, fixed, center, top
The page itself is very simple programming, all Windows platforms seem to
display properly, I've found only one Mac running IE that has this problem.
Any suggestions?
or - how can I shift the entire site down 20 pixels without having to reset
each page properties, layout table etc.
