Layer Woes (k) |
| message from W. Kirk Lutz on 22 Jul 2004 |
I'm having trouble with the Show/Hide layer function.
http://209.190.217.184/naturevisionaryart/Artists/Banks_Michael/banks_michael_home.html
When you rollover the images at the bottom, the layer for that item is
supposed to become visible. Sort of works. But then the thumbnails
dissapear.
I made the layers by copying and pasting the code and renaming the
editable and id numbers.
Any help would be appreciated.

Figured it out, bad naming. Had same names for layers as buttons.

I don't see that in IE6/WXPPro. But I do see some badly distorted images.
I would not put HTML above the <html> tag -

After I increased the text size so I could read it (Firefox 0.9) the
thumbnails were way 'below the fold' to make the image change opposite the
Michael Banks text. It got worse when I increased the size of the the text
again. The thumbnails are just too far away from the full sized image.
