Images not working in Dreamweaver

I'm building a site using DreamweaverMX. Now, for some reason, any new
images that I add will not show up. They won't even show up in the "preview
in browser." The files are where they are supposed to be, but all I get is
the ol' "broken image" icon. This is bizarre. Any help would be great.
