How to change AD box in DW2004 css-p? |
| message from Betty Hills on 22 Jul 2004 |
This is a conceptual question on how best to accomplish a single, global change
to an ad box that would show up in the same position on all pages on the site.
DW2004 css-p and the new prefabricated CSS Page Designs create a site with
many identically structured pages. 2col_leftNav.css along with its page
template offer an ad box in the left navigation column.
To fill it, one could make a .jpg of an image combined with ad text, but that
is not ideal. Is there a way to use an image tag that would also bring in its
caption? Any tricks in DW that could do it? Suggestions will be appreciated.
TIA

Use a server-side include there. Create the include file to hold the image
and its caption. Style the image to float above the caption.
