Okay-
I have searched the forums, but I have yet to see an answer. PLEASE HELP!!
I change a template, save it and request that the pages using the template get
updated, and get:
While executing receiveArguments in File_Save.htm, the following JavaScript
error(s) occurred:
At line 75 of file "C:\Program Files\Macromedia\Dreamweaver MX
2004\Configuration\Menus\MM\File_Save.js":
Exception thrown in native function.
I click on okay. THe template is saved but none of the pages are updated. I
then try to update each page individually by going to Modify>Template>Update
Current Page and get:
While exectuing DWMenu_Modify_Templates_UpdateCurrentPage command in menus.xml
the following JavaScript error(s) occurred:
Exception thrown in native function.
I closed out and reopened Dreamweaver. Same deal.
I uninstalled and reinstalled Dreamweaver. Same deal.
I upgraded Dreamweaver to 7.0.1. Same deal.
I am now at a complete dead end on my site. I have been using templates and
everything has been fine (except for a few glitches that usually are worked
around by closing out Dreamweaver and starting it back up again, or checking in
a change and then checking it back out and continuing to work on the file).
Please help me get out of this. I am doing last minute cleanup before the
site goes live. I am SOOO close....

What DW extensions do you have installed?

Here is a work-around which my 83-year-old brain just discovered: Just
before
doing "save as," minimize the page, delete the page it is to replace, and
then
"save as" works! I love Dreamweaver, but I wonder why we users have to
spend
our time fighting with glitches and bugs. At least we can all help each
other.
