Flash on top of DHTML/Java menus

message from bubbajoebingo on 23 Jul 2004
I am using Allwebmenus to create some pull down menus. Problem is that the
menus go under the Flash animation I have on my webpage instead of over top.
Is there anyway to make the Flash movie go behind the menus?

this question has been asked hundred of times before.
no, there are many half-solutions, but none is cross-browser or
cross-platform, so just don't have menus going over flash content.

In most cases there is no complete (I mean cross-browser compatible)
solution for these kind of implementations.

Why don't you send an email to the support department of the company
of allwebmenus to be sure?

The example in the above URL uses a script called WCH that makes drop
downs show over select boxes and flash

The files for the menu are at:

All Active content on a page will always rise to the top, so to speak,
including Flash, certain form elements, Java applets, and Active X controls.
