Fireworks HTML JavaScript in Dreamweaver Templates |
| message from CARLEYKOKO on 21 Jul 2004 |
Is it possible to create a template that has Fireworks HTML inserted into it
for a navigation bar at the top of the page using the ?Insert Fireworks HTML?
command? When I used the ?Insert Fireworks HTML? command to insert the code,
and created a page from the template, none of the references to ?arrows.gif? in
the JavaScript generated by Fireworks were updated to reflect the saved
location of the new document (that was created from the template). As a
result, none of the arrows, when previewed in a browser, appears.
Thank you,
CARLEYKOKO

You just need to change the link to arrows.gif to a root relative one by
hacking the code in the head of the template.
But beware - these menus are quite flawed, very template surly, and have led
a huge number of inexperienced developers into a great black hole. Please
read this carefully -
