Form Action Settings Question

To tell my form the location of the script to process the form data, of
course, I have to set the form action, i.e., <form action="../path to
script">

But, it seems to me, that makes my script an easy target for potential
abuse by spammers. Is there a way to hide the form action path to
protect the location of the form mail script?
