Dreamweaver templates make me want to die

message from destr0 on 17 Jul 2004
<a href="${predefinedurl}">rot in hell dreamweaver</a>

when I put that into a template and then create a page based off of it I
get: <a href="{predefinedurl}">rot in hell dreamweaver</a>

- happy I spent $400 for this hunk of garbage.

Hi destr0,

I wish I knew some JSP to be able to offer an alternative... I tried your
code, and sure enough the $ is removed. What I did discover is Dreamweaver
only removes the $ if it is the first thing after the opening ". Any chance
you could put something before the $?

Hope this info helps...

Good luck!
~Angela
