Dreamweaver question for Gurus |
| message from Junker on 18 Jul 2004 |
Hi guys,
I did a search through the group with no luck. I want to make a my own web
portal that will query ebay, reuters, and a few other places that have their
own search bars within their web pages and then return the results to my web
page.
First is this possible on reuters? I've seen stuff like this done with ebay,
but I don't know how to incorporate their search bars into my web page.
Thanks for any help or links. :)
Sincerely,
Matt
PS-sorry that this has been reposted, but I'm not getting any responses even
if people DON'T know how to do this.

You will get lots of legal issues if you do this without permission from
(for example) Reuters. If you *do* get permission from them, they will
provide information on how to do it.
It wouldn't be very useful for people to post messages saying 'I don't
know', would it? You wouldn't then be able to see the valid replies through
all the chaff.
I think you should approach the companies whose information you want to
collate, and discuss it with them; but be prepared to be disappointed.
Regards,
Pete.
