DW4 Pop Menu Arrow is a 'x' - why? |
| message from Mr.Crom on 24 Jul 2004 |
Hi,
When I export the file and upload the Dreamweaver 4 pages to server, the arrow
displays as a 'x' instead of the little black arrow as in the preload browser.
Any help be appreciated.
Thanks

You need to hack the js code in each page to make the link to "arrows.gif" a
root relative link.
This is but one of the many little surprises that these menus have in store
for you. After you do all the work to get them implemented, you will
discover that the menus cannot be read by search engines. It's a simple
fix, but why use them in the first place?

There are much better ways to do it than to use this badly broken pop-up
menu.
