Code view vs. Design view: Problem

I've made changes to my HTML code in Code View and it won't upload (CNTRL-U).
However, when I make the same change (one word in the body text content) in the
Design View, it saves and uploads just fine. What's the deal? This only
happens with one website I'm working on, not others.
