Copying Text from Dreamweaver into a Spreadsheet |
| message from David B on 22 Jul 2004 |
I want to move the text from one of my sites into a database. To my
surprise, when I pasted an article into a spreadsheet cell, it filled
several cells, the breaks occurring where each line physically ends in

Twice each year, the great herds
migrate across the Serengeti, searching
for forage.

I could have sworn I had done this before without any trouble. Maybe I
was pasting it from a different program. Anyway, is there a way to
modify my text so that it will be spreadsheet friendly?
Thanks.

Try viewing the page in the browser and then do a copy from there as it
will be a lot smoother than from the editing environment.
