CFM

I am new to website design... I have the basics down and understand HTML and
some javascipt and bit of flash. My question is in regards to designing a site
with a database... What is the best solution for me, I use a MAC G4 running 0S
X or OS 9. This is probably a stupid question, but I am not sure what
direction to take and what I need to do it. CFM. PHP, ASP ... does dreamweaver
offer this as an option? This is for my CYCLING team's website. I want
racers to be able to log on and input there race results, then the results
could be organized by racer, race, or date. Also, certain people I would like
to have them be able to log on and upload a story or article and it would be
input into a format. ? How possible are these types of things and what is the
the best solution for me, considering my knowledge and system (mac). I am
willing to learn and spend the time, I just want to start off on the right
foot.
