Background image not showing |
| message from Jos Medinger on 22 Jul 2004 |
OK - Now I'm sure this is really basic... BUT
I've a site on http://www.dateasianwomen.com/page1.html which has a table
bottom centre of the page and the rows in it are obscuring the bg image in the
cell that sits behind it.
My understanding was that if the bg image was placed on the <td> tag then as
long as there were no blank cells in a nested table overlaying it then it
should make the overlying cells transparent and therefore see the image
'through' them.
You can see however that there are black lines extending over the 'hair' of
the girl on the right.
Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
Cheers
Jos

It was a misplaced background-color declaration in the stylesheet I was using...

Don't look at the page in Netscape/Mozilla/Firefox, however.
