An FTP error occurred... MX 2004 |

I can't seem to upload and download files though the connection to the server
tests ok. The error message that I get in Dreamweaver MX 2004 is:
"An FTP error occurred - cannot get index.htm. Access Denied. The file may
not exists, or there could be a permission problem."
I've validated it exists on the Unix server and also changed permissions of
the file and parent directory temporarily to world readable 777 to no avail.
Any advice for the novice? Many thanks in advance.

Did ou define both a test and a remote server ? if so, which one are you trying
to FTP to. Silly question, but are you trying to load files from the server to
the local machine, or from the local machine to one of these servers ?
