Absolute positioning right/bottom? |

I want to know, is it indeed valid code to position div's from the right/bottom
as well? I was reading the CSS 2.1 spec and thats the way it sounds unless
I'm mistaken.

And also, why does right: seem to display div inconsistently accross
browsers? A friend of mine said that:
#wrap { position:absolute; left:25%; right:25%; } was aligned center!
