ANN: Tutorial on Flash Based buttons.

message from Paul Whitham TMM on 22 Jul 2004
To answer the many questions people have here about how to create navigation
buttons in Flash and then control them through code in DW I have written a
tutorial on how to do it. It has just gone live on the MM site at

Just North of Wellington, or if you are a LOTR fan, about 10 minutes
drive from Rivendell, Minus Tirith and Helms Deep.

I don't use this technique myself, but the tutorial does look good.
That RoboDemo software looks pretty good too I must say.

Robodemo is very good although you really have to be be very exact in
what you are going to do with it. The article took around an hour to put
together, but getting the robodemo files right took around 3 hours.

The worst part of it was that they had to be recorded at 800*600. In
that resolution you don't have much of a workable flash space.
